i hear something crash
into the building next to my window
i look out
people running and screaming
their lives forever changed
i watch as the building
crumbles to the ground
debris all over the place
everything slows down
firefighters all over controlling the fire
not seeing any light
except gray black white
out of the debris i see a cross
the pain of Christ
is the pain of my people
the death i have just seen
is the death my Christ endured
